As the year 2020 came to a close, the dragon-themed gaming category saw varied performances among its top contenders on the Android platform in Europe. Utilizing data provided by Sensor Tower, let's dive into the specifics of how these games fared in the fourth quarter.

Dragon Mania Legends, published by Gameloft SE, demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 150K in the last week of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from approximately 699K to over 822K in the same period.

Zynga's Merge Dragons! experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a notable spike to $409K in the weeks of mid-December and the end of December. Downloads saw a decline from 106K to around 76K, while weekly active users slightly dipped from 1.3M to 1.2M by the end of December.

Frost & Flame: King of Avalon, from FunPlus International AG, had a high revenue mark of over $1.1M at the beginning and end of October. Downloads showed a slight uptick from 67K to 83K, and active users saw a modest increase from 316K to 328K by the year's end.

Dragon City Mobile by Social Point had a mixed revenue performance, with a peak at $144K in late November. Downloads remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 66K, and the game maintained a strong weekly active user base, hovering around 1.5M throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Century Games PTE. LTD.'s Dragonscapes Adventure, which released late in October, showed a promising start. While its initial revenue was not tracked, by the end of December it reached $92K. Downloads surged to 90K in its opening week and concluded the quarter at 90K. Weekly active users saw a substantial increase from 47K to nearly 194K, indicating a growing interest in this new addition to the dragon game genre.
